The magazine commissions members. Pitch a piece in your field — a city you know, a profile, a list you've been carrying for years. If we run it, we pay per piece, openly. Pay scales with length, photography, and reporting depth.

A few honest questions.
Why does the Member tier require an application?
Because the chat (the Hall) only works if everyone in it can carry their weight in it. Members write notes, answer questions, file dispatches. The application is the editors' read on whether someone's likely to do that. The Reader tier is free for a reason — it's the version that doesn't need the gate.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, any time. Up-tier and the change is immediate. Down-tier and the change takes effect on your next billing cycle. We pro-rate refunds for yearly billing if you down-tier mid-year.
Is there a student rate?
Yes — Member tier is 40% off for verified students. Email gustravelintel@gmail.com with proof and we'll set it up.
What if I get declined for Member but want the Magazine?
The Reader tier is open. You get the public side of the Magazine without the application, the app, or the chat. You can apply for Member again any time.
Do you offer team or family plans?
Not at this size. If we get to the point where it makes sense, we'll add it. For now: each membership is one person.
Can I cancel?
Any time, no friction. Export your data first; we'll keep contributions to the magazine on file (with permission) and the rest goes.
